Westcon-Comstor Sub-Saharan Africa now offering certified Microsoft training

Westcon-Comstor in Sub-Saharan Africa is pleased to announce that its resellers are now able to fulfil their Microsoft training requirements through the company.

The announcement follows a global announcement by the value-added distributor that it has officially been appointed a global Microsoft Learning Partner. The appointment provides the company the opportunity to now roll out and deliver classroom-based Microsoft courses from its myriad global training facilities.

“The training and academy component of our value-added services continues to develop, driven by demand from our resellers to ensure they have the right skills in place to meet vendor competency levels for partner accreditation.” states Heinz Stephan, Services Solutions Director at Westcon-Comstor Sub-Saharan Africa. “Not only do we have the facilities to deliver a global level of training, but we have partnerships and programs in place to deliver Microsoft certified training.”

“The addition of Microsoft training to our portfolio also lengthens the breadth of our Training as a Service (TaaS) offering, where we are able to provide resellers with services beyond just the classroom. Covering the areas of solution selling, technical skills and then coupling this with certifications to support,” adds Stephan.

Westcon-Comstor is already an Authorised Training Centre for vendor partners Ruckus, Avaya, F5 and Palo Alto, with the addition of Microsoft the company will be looking to create solution centric training bundles for customers who are working in a multi-vendor world. Westcon-Comstor are initially scheduling courses for M365 and Azure.

The Microsoft training solutions offered will include vendor-certified partner training, end-user training on behalf of partners and tailored training that is customised to a partner/vendor’s requirements. This training is delivered via classroom training, on-site training or instructor-led online training.

We also offer our partners exclusive access to Velocity E-Learning. Velocity helps sales teams, pre-sales engineers and business leaders understand the business drivers for cloud, from a portal that is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
